About Mike Walsh

Over the last 35+ years, Mike has lead and trained landscape other architects and designers in his field and has built tens of millions of dollars’ worth of residential landscape and home improvements. He’s been featured nationally on HGTV, on radio, in magazines, newspaper articles and is now a leading web presence. He’s consulted professionally for many conservation group, towns, and the state of Massachusetts on water conservation, sustainability and has spoken to dozens of chapters of the MA Horticultural Society since 1982.

Mike is upbeat, really “knows his stuff” and loves to work with people. He’s a creative, accomplished and practical problem-solver who will bring you fresh, new ideas. Each of his excellent landscapes is a thoughtful, unique and successful expression of the practical arts of architecture, design, horticulture and construction. From the first day, Mike will bring his vision to your property and project balancing constraints and opportunities. He is most noted for combining the landscape with architecture for a unified and integrated result combining the best of both and solving problems of each. He usually works in phases over a period of time (as much as 20+ years) to achieve the ultimate goal in steps that make sense for each couple.
